New Shelter at Tipton Woods Trail

A large wood and steel beam shelter anchored in a concrete base has been constructed on the south west side of the Tipton Woods Trail.  The shelter, concrete base and the construction costs were donated by Kent and Kelli Hake.  Braden Hake donated the machinery and time for leveling the construction area of the shelter.  This very generous donation will provide a large area for people to rest in the shade and gather with others while enjoying their time at the Tipton Woods Trail.   The shelter was completed in time for the Fun Run/Walk at the annual St. Boniface Church Picnic was held at the Tipton Woods Trail on Saturday, August 6.  This was the first time the event was held at the trail, and many walkers and runners enjoyed the scenery and natural setting while participating in the event. Come check out this new and wonderful addition to the trail!
